This popular local market is held at the Maitland Showground, within easy reach of our Rutherford NSW accommodation. It boasts the cream of the region’s arts, crafts and fresh produce, with an enticing array of home baked cakes, hand crafted jewellery, arts and crafts to explore across more than 600 stalls. It takes place from 8am to 2pm on the first Sunday of each month. We highly recommend our guests take a look!
Handmade in the Hunter Markets
Situated in the beautiful gardens of the renowned Kevin Sobels Wines in Pokolbin, not far from our family hotel Rutherford, these markets are the place to uncover the variety and quality of goods grown, made and crafted in the region. With a convenient location close to many of the Hunter Valley’s best restaurants and wineries, why not make a day of it? The markets take place on the second and last Saturday of the month, between 9am-4pm.
